Marriage and children are no guarantee of heterosexuality. This is a list of some dead people who are known to have been homosexual or bisexual and who had children. They are all from the public domain, and thus are generally from the upper and middle classes. This is simply because there is less public evidence about people in other walks of life and we are not interested in "outing" the living. Leonard Bernstein (3 children)
Leonard Bernstein (1918–1990) was an American conductor and composer, most memorably of "West Side Story". He was a lifelong homosexual and openly so in his mature years. He married and with his wife, Felicia, he had two sons and a daughter.
